Welcome to the mid-way point of my attempt to brew a beer entirely from malt, hops, yeast, and water produced within 50 meters (~150 feet) of my home brewery. The first of the two varieties of barley that I am growing this summer is ready for harvest, so I’m going to harvest it today. And while I do that I’m going to answer all of the common questions I have been getting since I started this project.
