The Fifty Meter Beer Project Part 9 – Capturing Wild Yeast + an Update
Its time to start capturing yeast for my Fifty Meter Beer Project. Even though it’ll be several months until the malt is made and the hops are picked, I want to get a pure strain of wild yeast to use for the beer. This may take a few attempts at capturing the wild yeast, plus time to isolate and run some basic trials.
I’ve added a short “tutorial” section on my preferred approach for capturing wild yeasts at the end of the video, for those who are interested.
