Farewell, Old Friend
Last night I went to pour myself a pint, and instead of the cool, fizzy, delectable treat I was expecting, my beer fridge instead gave me a cup of lukewarm, dull froth. After 6 great years, my cheap(ish) costco kegorator finally gave up the ghost. A but of inspecting later turned up a burnt out compressor, which is beyond my ability to fix.
So farewell old friend, farewell. You’ve seen me through thick and thin, through beer-droughts and beer-bonanzas, two homes and a new kid, and never once let me down (not counting yesterday, nor all those times you I had 3 kegs of beer but you only had space for two).
And on a not unrelated note, look for a post on my attempt to build a keezer in the near future.
New fermentation chamber? 🙂
